# ICE Token

**ICE** is Popsicle Finance’s token, it has a maximum supply of **69M**. It is minted on the Ethereum Mainnet as an ERC-20 Token and then bridged to all other supported blockchains. ### Tokenomics: 

To begin with, the ICE token will be a pure governance-focused token, as the product continues to be built the token will become **pivotal**, we want to make sure the community shapes the token utility with us.

Please note that following the passing of the Tokenomics proposal made by the team **44,842,141** ICE have been burned bringing the **ICE** token allocation as follows:

Currently the protocol is emitting 12k ICE per week, towards the ICE/WETH pool on Sushiswap Ethereum.
